Digital Marketing Manager

About the business

Our client is an established Australian business in the building and housing sector that's growing quickly across more than one brand. Digital marketing drives most of that growth and they invest heavily in paid media, websites, CRM, automation and content.

The role

You'll lead the in-house marketing team and own HubSpot across marketing and sales. This isn't a hands-off management job. You'll set the team's priorities and keep projects on track, then get into the platforms yourself when it's needed. You'll work directly with the Directors and have real say over where the marketing budget goes.

What you'll be doing

- Leading a small team covering content and video, web development and performance marketing
- Setting weekly priorities, assigning clear ownership and deadlines and seeing projects through to completion
- Owning the HubSpot rollout: workflows, automated lead follow-up, marketing-to-sales handover, dashboards and data quality
- Reviewing Google Ads and Meta Ads spend and performance,



challenging results and stepping in on campaigns when required
- Working across Shopify, landing pages, email, GA4 and campaign tracking
- Turning lead, conversion and sales data into explicit recommendations for the Directors
- Using AI tools to help the team work faster and produce better work

What you'll bring

- 7+ years in digital marketing including experience managing a marketing team
- HubSpot or similar CRM experience plus marketing automation
- Solid working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads with meaningful budgets
- Shopify experience and a good grasp of lead generation and sales funnels
- Strong reporting, organisation and project management skills
- Confidence working with sales teams and business owners, explaining performance in plain English
- AI as part of your everyday workflow
