Casual | Regular & Ad-Hoc Shifts | In-Home Support, Community Access & Transport

We are looking for caring, reliable and genuine Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide person-centred support to participants in their homes and within the community.

We have opportunities for workers who are looking for regular weekly shifts, as well as workers who prefer flexible, ad-hoc work and are happy to step in and cover shifts when needed.

About the role

Support may include

- In-home personal care and day-to-day support
- Community access and participation
- Transport to appointments, activities, shopping and outings
- Supporting participants to maintain independence and achieve their goals
- Assistance with household tasks where required
- Providing companionship and social support
- Following individual support plans and maintaining appropriate documentation

Shift lengths can vary depending on the participant’s needs - from approximately 2 hour shift covers through to 6+ hour shifts.

- Comfortable driving participants in the community
- Flexible and willing to pick up additional shifts when available
- Professional and committed to providing high-quality support
- Able to build genuine, respectful relationships with participants





Previous disability support experience is highly regarded, although we are also interested in people who have the right attitude, values and willingness to learn.

Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Relevant qualifications (such as Certificate III/IV in Individual Support or Disability) are highly regarded
