Casual AM/PM/Sleepover Shifts | Female Candidates Only

Amion Support Services is seeking a caring, reliable female support worker to support a female participant in her Supported Independent Living (SIL) home.

Available Shifts

- Mondays, 9 am–3 pm: regular weekly shift.
- Fridays, 9 am–3 pm: occasional relief shifts.
- Afternoon shifts , 3 pm-9pm and sleepover: relief cover when required.

Monday availability and the ability to drive are essential. These shifts include community access, transport to medical appointments and in-home support. Availability for Friday and afternoon/sleepover cover is preferred.

About the Role

- Assist with personal care, daily living tasks and household routines.
- Drive and accompany the participant to medical appointments and community activities.
- Support meaningful activities, including library visits, music and crafts.
- Follow the participant’s Behaviour Support Plan and use positive, consistent support strategies.
- Encourage choice, independence and confidence.
- Provide medication support in accordance with training and the participant’s medication plan.
- Complete accurate progress notes and incident reports.
- Maintain professional boundaries and communicate respectfully.

What We’re Looking For





- Female support worker to provide personal care to a female participant.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to the regular Monday shift.
- A confident driver who is comfortable transporting the participant.
- Clear spoken and written English communication skills.
- A patient, compassionate and friendly approach.
- Ability to engage positively and respond calmly to distress.
- Experience in SIL, mental health or behaviour support preferred.

What You Will Need

- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for transporting the participant.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent, or currently working towards a relevant qualification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion.
- Medication support and manual handling training, or willingness to complete required training.

Job Type: Casual Pay: $36.00 – $38.00 per hour
