Disability Support Worker - Geelong | Bannockburn & Inverleigh | Thursday-Saturday | 8am-8pm | Immediate Start

Responsibilities We are seeking a passionate, experienced and reliable Disability Support Worker (DSW) to provide high-quality, person-centred support to our clients across Bannockburn and Inverleigh., Your Responsibilities Depending on the client's individual needs, your duties may include:

- Personal care, including toileting and showering assistance
- Meal preparation, cooking and cleaning
- Community access and engagement
- Manual handling and mobility support
- Medication assistance
- Supporting daily routines and activities
- Providing emotional and social support
- Following individual care plans and support strategies
- Supporting clients with behaviours of concern in a calm, professional and person-centred manner

About The Candidate This is an excellent chance for an experienced DSW who is confident working with complex support needs, behaviours of concern and children., * Start: Immediate start preferred

- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Manual Handling: Current Manual Handling training and practical experience required




- Specialist experience: Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern is essential
- Client group: Must be comfortable and confident working with children, * An experienced Disability Support Worker with 3+ years' experience
- Confident supporting clients with complex needs
- Experienced working with behaviours of concern
- Comfortable working with children
- Trained and experienced in Manual Handling
- Enthusiastic, reliable and compassionate
- Strong in person-centred care
- Patient, calm and confident in challenging situations
- Available to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a minimum of 3 days' availability
