? About the Role

We’re currently looking for friendly, reliable Support Workers to join our Toowoomba team for daytime, evening, active overnight and sleepover shifts. If you're after regular, ongoing shifts and value a healthy work/life balance, we’d love to hear from you! This role will involve providing person-centred support to people living with Huntington’s Disease (HD). Huntington’s Disease can affect movement, cognition, communication and behaviour, and some people may experience behaviours that can be challenging to support.

Experience working with people with Huntington’s Disease, complex support needs or challenging behaviours would be highly regarded. Experience with behaviour support and an understanding of positive behaviour support approaches will also be highly valued.

We’re looking for Support Workers who are calm, patient, compassionate and confident in adapting their approach to meet the individual needs of the people they support.

- Great casual rates:
- With Certificate III: starting $45.28/hr (weekdays) to $81.50/hr (Sundays)
- Without Certificate III: starting $35.55/hr (weekdays) to $63.99/hr (Sundays)

✅ What You’ll Need (or be willing to obtain):

- First Aid & CPR Certificate

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Blue Card (Working With Children)

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Certificate
- A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (with willingness to transport clients)
- Full Vehicle comprehensive Insurance certificate

- Current Vehicle registration certificate
