Extra Care
|
Sydney
extra care is a nurse-led NDIS registered provider supporting children and young people aged 6 to 25, and their families, across Sydney. Our support is one-to-one and consistent. The same worker, the same child, week after week.
We're growing and interviewing throughout October.
Why this role suits students and current grads
If you're studying or have recently finished Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Teaching, Special Education or a related field, this is real hands-on experience in your area.
You'll learn from a Registered Nurse who still works directly with participants every week. You'll see how support plans, allied health goals and family input fit together in practice, not just in theory.
The role
- One-to-one support for children and young people with complex needs
- Weekday morning and after-school shifts
- Weekend community support
- School holiday group programs
- Working closely with families and allied health teams
Who we're looking for
- Current students or recent graduates in health, allied health or education
- Warm, reliable and good with kids
- Clear communicators who show up consistently
- Disability experience is a bonus. Not a requirement.
Where we work Southern Sydney, Inner Sydney, Inner North-West Sydney.
Pay: From $35.55 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 4.0 per week
