Integral Home Care is an NDIS-registered provider (Reg. No. (phone hidden)) based in Blacktown. We deliver person-centred disability support, nursing and transport services across Western Sydney.

About the role

We're looking for an energetic, reliable Disability Support Worker to support a young adult participant with autism in the Hills District. This is an active, community-based role. You'll help the participant build independence, confidence and wellbeing through regular physical and social activities.

Key responsibilities

- Support the participant to take part in swimming, gym sessions and walks in local parks
- Provide transport to and from activities and community outings in your own vehicle
- Use positive, autism-informed strategies to support communication, routines and emotional regulation
- Follow the participant's support plan and Behaviour Support Plan (if applicable)




- Encourage independence, social participation and healthy lifestyle goals
- Write accurate shift notes and report incidents or concerns promptly
- Work respectfully with the participant, their family and the IHC care team

Shifts

- Monday to Friday, 6-hour day shifts
- Adaptable availability is essential

Essential requirements

- Proven experience supporting people with autism
- Full driver's licence and your own reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Located in or near the Hills District
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed
- Physically active and comfortable with swimming, gym and outdoor activities
- Right to work in Australia

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
