We’re currently seeking Disability Support Workers who are passionate about making a real difference. In this role, you’ll contribute to meaningful work that uplifts individuals and strengthens families across our community.
Behavioral Challenges Include:
- Absconding & Property Damage
- Physical & Verbal Aggression
- Threats, Intimidation & Suicidal Ideation
- Sexually Inappropriate Behavior (verbal and physical)
- Sexually Explicit Dialogue, Fire Setting, Animal Cruelty
- Homicidal Ideations, Severe Attachment Disorder
- Antisocial, Destructive, and Trauma-Based Behavior
- Drug Usage
- Experienced in providing person-centred support to clients with complex conditions such as autism, intellectual disability, and epilepsy
- Calm and assertive in high-stress environments
- Experienced in de-escalating aggressive and sexualized behaviors
- Able to mentor youth with attachment issues and trauma
- Committed to clear boundaries, respectful communication, and safety
- Physically fit and mentally resilient
Requirements:
- Minimum nationally accredited completion of Certificate III in relevant Disability or Community Service field
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check
- A valid Australian driver’s license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Willingness to obtain a recent National Police Check
