Opportunity: Full Time Dispense Technician (or experienced Pharmacy Assistant seeking to upskill)
Roster: Tuesday to Saturday roster
Level: Pharmacy Assistant L3
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pharmacist in medication dispensing and verification
- Manage NHS claim processing efficiently
- Stay updated on PBS legislative requirements affecting the pharmacy/dispensary
- Maintain dispensary stock levels and implement loss prevention strategies
- Provide support in various pharmacy areas when needed
- Assist with MPS and Webster packing
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in high-volume prescription dispensing using FRED.
- Be able to help the pharmacist take and handle prescriptions and be familiar with the 'Fred' Dispense and office programs.
- Ideally hold a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or Cert II with dispensary experience
- Must have thorough understanding of S2, S3, and S4 medications
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Robust communication and customer service abilities
- Highly organized and methodical approach to tasks
