Toby's is a professional dog grooming salon located at 1 Jewel Way in Banksia Grove. We commenced trading in October 2023 and are one of the highest 5-star rated dog grooming salons on Google in Perth.

We are now taking Expressions of Interests (EOI) for another groomer/stylist to join our team. Depending on the candidate, this role could be filled on a part-time, casual, or sub-contractor basis. The available working days are currently Monday, Friday and Saturday with the potential for additional working days during the week for sick, personal or annual leave cover for other staff members.

Currently the team consists of a full time salon manager and four experienced dog groomers who are employed on a part-time basis, working 4-5 days per week each. Our opening hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday.

To be the ideal candidate, you must have at least 1-2 years of dog grooming experience. If you don't have this level of experience, we may be willing to bring on the right candidate on a trainee basis. All groomers are expected to work at least one Saturday every fortnight.

Your responsibilities will include a range of grooming services, from de-matting and detangling hair, to bathing, conditioning, and drying pets. You will also be responsible for trimming nails, brushing teeth, cleaning ears, and grooming and styling pets to specific breed standards or owner preferences. Our grooming tables and bath are new, and all have hydraulic lifts.

Hourly rate listed in the ad is exclusive of superannuation and leave entitlements.

Compensation will be subject to the employment arrangement, level of experience, and availability. A grooming trial may be requested as part of the application process.

Apply now with a copy of your resume, and a member of our team will be in touch with more information.
