What You'll Be Doing

- Walking and exercising dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities.
- Providing secure, engaging and enriching experiences for every dog.
- Practising positive reinforcement training during walks and activities.
- Helping dogs develop better lead manners, confidence and focus.
- Working with dogs who may pull on the lead, become distracted or need extra guidance.
- Monitoring dog behaviour, body language and wellbeing.
- Transporting dogs safely when required.
- Communicating professionally with clients and keeping them updated on their dogs.
- Following Take A Lead's safety procedures and training standards.

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is more than just a dog lover. We want someone who is responsible, observant, patient and eager to learn who wants to become a dog trainer and make dog training their carrier.

You'll be a great fit if you:

- Have a genuine passion for dogs and their wellbeing.
- Are confident handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
- Are reliable, punctual and take pride in your work.
- Have good communication skills and enjoy working with people.




- Are physically fit and happy to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Can follow instructions and work independently while being part of a team.
- Are keen to learn about dog behaviour and positive reinforcement training.

Experience is an advantage, but the right attitude matters most. Dog walking, dog daycare, animal care or dog training experience is highly regarded. Training will be provided to help you develop your skills. Why Join Take A Lead?

- Position: Dog Walker & Trainer
- Location: Rose Bay/ Paddington area
- Employment: Part time / Casual available
- Requirements: Valid driver's licence - dog experience
