Your Key Responsibilities As a Domestic Assistant, your duties may include:
- General household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and other living areas.
- Laundry, changing bed linen and light household tasks.
- Maintaining a safe, hygienic and comfortable home environment.
- Respecting clients' privacy, dignity and individual preferences.
- Following relevant workplace health, safety and infection prevention procedures.
- Communicating professionally with clients and the CCNASA team.

What We're Looking For To be considered, applicants must have:
- Minimum 3 months' experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable personal transport.
- Availability to undertake community-based shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- A reliable, respectful and professional approach to work.

Previous experience providing domestic assistance in aged care, home care or community support settings will be highly regarded. Successful applicants may be required to complete relevant screening and compliance checks before commencing work.

Desirable: Previous experience in aged care, home care, disability support or community service environments will be highly regarded.

Responsible For

As a Domestic Assistant with CCNASA, you will support clients in maintaining clean, safe and comfortable homes, helping promote their independence and overall wellbeing. Your key responsibilities will include:

- General Household Cleaning: Perform vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sweeping and general cleaning of living areas.
- Kitchen & Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitise kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and frequently touched surfaces.
- Laundry & Linen Care: Assist with washing, drying, folding clothes, changing bed linen and light ironing where required.
- Household Organisation: Support clients with light housekeeping, tidying and maintaining organised living spaces.
- Infection Prevention & Hygiene: Follow appropriate cleaning procedures,



infection control practices and workplace safety standards.
- Client-Centred Support: Respect clients' dignity, privacy, independence and individual preferences while delivering services.
- Workplace Health & Safety: Use cleaning products and equipment safely, identify potential hazards and report concerns promptly.
- Documentation & Communication: Complete required service records and communicate relevant updates to the CCNASA team.
- Professional Service Delivery: Arrive punctually, follow individual client service plans and maintain a respectful, compassionate and professional approach.

Additional Requirements

To be eligible for Domestic Assistant opportunities with CCNASA, applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Work Rights: Valid Australian working rights.
- Driver's Licence: Current driver's licence and access to reliable personal transport.
- Experience: Minimum 3 months' experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
- Police Clearance: Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one, meeting applicable community care requirements.
- Screening Requirements: Willingness to complete relevant aged care or NDIS worker screening checks, where required.
- Availability: Flexible availability to undertake community-based shifts across Adelaide metropolitan and surrounding areas.
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely perform routine cleaning duties, including standing, bending, reaching and handling cleaning equipment.
- Infection Control: Willingness to complete mandatory infection prevention, hygiene and workplace safety training.
- Documentation: Ability to complete shift records and required service documentation accurately.
- Compliance: Willingness to complete CCNASA's recruitment, onboarding and mandatory compliance requirements before commencing work.
