Role Description The Drilling Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Perth Area, overseeing drilling operations within Monument Mining’s Australian portfolio. This position is responsible for planning and managing drilling programs, supervising drilling teams and contractors, and ensuring safe, productive, and cost-effective execution of drilling activities.

The Drilling

Manager collaborates closely with geology, mining, and engineering teams to optimize drill designs, support resource definition, and contribute to mine planning and exploration strategies. Key day-to-day tasks include monitoring drilling performance, resolving operational issues,



managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves continuous improvement of drilling practices, reporting on progress and results, and fostering a safety-focused and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Drilling and Completion skills relevant to gold mining and resource development.
- Candidates should possess Drilling Engineering and Petroleum Engineering skills applicable to subsurface characterization and well-designed drilling programs.
- Candidates should possess proven Supervisory Skills for managing drilling crews, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Relevant experience in mineral exploration and/or mine production drilling, ideally within gold operations.
- Knowledge of drilling safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in the Australian mining industry.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in relevant drilling and mining software tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a culturally diverse, operational environment.
- A degree or diploma in engineering, geoscience, or a related discipline; equivalent experience in drilling management will be considered.
