E-Commerce Product & Platform Coordinator

- Backed by an established Australian home improvement group The opportunity An established Australian home improvement group is launching a recent direct-to-consumer e-commerce business. The website is being built now on WordPress and WooCommerce, and we are putting together a small, multi-skilled founding team to launch it and grow it. This is a rare chance to shape the products and systems of an online business from day one.

The role

You will look after what we sell and the systems we sell it on. That means developing and testing products, managing the website and its back end, coordinating the site build with our developers, and keeping supplier data flowing.

What you'll do

- Develop and test new products, and create product imagery
- Manage the website and the WooCommerce back end day to day




- Coordinate the website development project with external developers
- Manage EDI and supplier data, and the supply chain relationships behind them
- Handle customer service by email and phone, and resolve complaints in customers' homes
- Edit content for social media

What you'll bring

- Hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce; Xero integration experience is a plus
- Product or category experience, ideally in home improvement, homewares or furnishings
- Project coordination experience, including working with developers or agencies
- Comfort with data, EDI or system integrations
- A practical, customer-focused approach
- A current driver's licence
