Position Details Santa Clara School (SCS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated education assistant to work closely with our teachers supporting students identified with learning difficulties or disabilities four days a week. Ideal work days: Tuesday – Friday. There is the potential this position could be ongoing from 2028.

Selection Criteria Santa Clara School is seeking an educational assistant who:

- Supports the values and mission of Catholic Education in their role.




- Is a passionate, enthusiastic educator who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Shows professionalism, strong people skills, and is well organised.
- Has experience supporting students in small groups or 1:1. Highly desirable is initiative and growth midset.
- Can assist students with social and emotional needs using engaging, tailored approaches.
- Has a calm and empathetic manner when supporting student wellbeing.
- Works closely with teachers and school leaders to ensure consistent support for students.
- Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion in a school setting.

Qualifications Required

- Cert III (Experienced) or Cert IV Teacher Assistant qualification (Special Needs)
- Have a Working with Children Check and EDU Dept Police Cleareance
- Be willing to work towards or maintain Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School.
