An exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor to join a major decarbonisation project across the Pilbara, Western Australia. Oversee electrical construction activities, coordinate site teams and contractors, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects. Play a key role in advancing sustainable mining operations and achieving zero-emissions goals.
Description
- Review and accept Contractor Inspection and Test sheets
- Conducting Punch list walk downs
- Manage Isolation requirements
- Able to review and interpret Project drawings and
- Liaising with the Superintendents, Site Team, Contractors, and Stakeholders on all relevant matters
- Lease with Commissioning teams for handover and SIMOPS
- Ensure BMS obligations are met
- Meet all responsibilities as outlined in the Health, Safety and Workplace Policies
- Participate in any training and safety initiatives implemented by the company
- Comply with all safety directives, and work instructions
- Contribute to a highly skilled and capable workforce by supporting individual's personal and professional development through structured development plans and ongoing on the job coaching and mentoring
- Act with integrity by leading by example ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and compliant manner
- Identify and manage all workplace incidents promptly.
Profile
Qualifications and Experience
- W.A A Grade Electrical license
- Relative project or construction supervision experience
- High voltage switching certificate
- Cert 4 in instrumentation and controls
- Experience in Fibre and communications networks
- Experience with completions management systems
- 5 years as a supervisor in mining
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster strong relationships.
- experience in High Voltage distribution networks
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations and codes of practice associated with HS&E;, construction, inspection, testing and commissioning.
