Electrical Project Manager Valentis Energy | Mining & Resources | Electrical Projects

Valentis Energy is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of electrical projects across the mining and resources sector.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, proven project management capabilities and experience working within EPCM construction environments. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of electrical projects, including high and low voltage installations, power distribution, instrumentation and shutdown execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage electrical projects from initial planning and estimating through to execution and completion.
- Coordinate project activities across EPCM construction environments, including process and non-process infrastructure.
- Oversee electrical installations, including high and low voltage systems, power distribution and associated infrastructure.
- Manage project controls, including planning, estimating, scheduling and progress monitoring.
- Coordinate resources, contractors and stakeholders to support safe and efficient project delivery.
- Provide technical oversight across instrumentation, PLC/SCADA systems and electrical infrastructure.
- Support shutdown planning, coordination and execution.
- Contribute to tendering, project development and business development activities.
- Ensure project activities comply with relevant safety, quality and site requirements.

Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will require:





- Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrical Workers Licence.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles (PMBOK) or relevant industry experience.
- Experience working within EPCM construction environments across process and non-process infrastructure.
- Exposure to surface and/or underground mining operations and associated facilities.
- Technical experience with high and low voltage installations, power distribution, instrumentation and PLC/SCADA systems.
- Experience in electrical shutdown planning and execution.
- Proven project controls experience, including planning, estimating and scheduling.
- Ability to obtain or willingness to undertake an In-House Electrical Nominee qualification.
- Valid White Card and ability to meet relevant mine site entry requirements.
- Relevant High Risk Work Licence and site-specific competencies, where required.
- Strong communication, leadership, organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
