Immediate Start | Canning Vale | Project Through to April 2027
TCB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer on behalf of our client for an exciting opportunity supporting an industrial electrical project within the resources sector.
Based in Canning Vale, this role offers a Monday to Friday working week, with occasional travel to site in the Pilbara as required. The project is running through to April 2027, with the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in industrial electrical installation who enjoys being involved in the practical side of engineering, solving problems on-site and working in a subcontractor environment.
About the Role
Working closely with the project team, you will provide engineering support across electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support during electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
- Review electrical drawings and prepare redline mark-ups.
- Verify installation quality and support the development of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design and construction issues on-site.
- Coordinate and expedite procurement of electrical packages, equipment and materials.
- Assist with project planning,
scheduling and progress reporting.
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience as an Electrical Project Engineer within industrial, mining or resources environments.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrical installation.
- A strong understanding of electrical drawings, installation requirements and commissioning processes.
- Experience with redline mark-ups, quality inspections and ITPs.
- The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop practical solutions.
- Solid communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- The flexibility to travel to Pilbara sites as required.
