Our client is a well-established electrical services provider supporting a diverse range of commercial and industrial customers across the region. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance and technical solutions, they are seeking an experienced and motivated electrical professional to play a key role in supporting both their field teams and customer base.
Your new role An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Electrician / Supervisor to join the business in a leadership-focused role combining technical support, mentoring, estimating and operational oversight.
Working closely with field technicians, you will provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, coordinate daily work activities and support breakdown response requirements. You will also mentor apprentices and electricians, assist with workforce planning, conduct toolbox talks, review drawings, prepare quotes and estimates, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
This role is primarily local and based around a standard 38-hour week, with occasional site support and after-hours breakdown assistance when required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Electrical Licence & Drives Licence
- Previous experience in a Supervisor, Leading Hand or senior electrical position
- Extensive experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical maintenance
- Robust fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on machinery and control circuits
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing electricians and apprentices
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with quoting, estimating and job planning highly regarded
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, crews and customer requirements
