This privatelyoperated site near Dajarra is part of a growing phosphate mining projectfocused on safe and effective mineral processing. Due to increased operationaldemand, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team.
YourNew Role
Thisis a hands-on, all-rounder role suited to someone who enjoys working acrossboth processing and site infrastructure in a smaller operation. This role is ona 8/6 roster Day shift only, FIFO Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane 12 hourshifts.
Your responsibilities will include the below but not limited to
- Maintain and repair electrical systems across both processing and non-processing infrastructure
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and repairs on fixed plant equipment
- Assist with general plant operations alongside operator maintainers when required
- Participate in daily pre-start checks of the crushing circuit
- Support broadersite activities including camp maintenance,
housekeeping, and general repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
What You'llNeed to Succeed
- Current Electrical Trade Qualification (Electrician)
- Manual Driver’s Licence
- Current CPR / LVR
- Ability to pass a mine site medical
- Mining experience preferred
