Your new companyThis respected local government organisation is committed to keeping its community safe, accessible and well managed. They are seeking a confident and professional Parking Officer to join their compliance team in a hands-on, community-facing role.

Your new role

- Patrol streets, car parks and regulated parking areas
- Monitor compliance with parking restrictions and relevant legislation
- Issue penalty notices accurately, consistently and fairly
- Educate members of the public and respond professionally to enquiries
- Manage difficult interactions calmly and respectfully
- Maintain accurate records, reports and photographic evidence
- Support broader community safety and compliance activities when required

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience in parking, regulatory services, compliance, security,



enforcement or a customer-facing role
- Strong communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- Confidence working independently and outdoors in a public-facing environment
- Sound judgement, attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
- A current Australian driver licence
- Availability to work 38 hours per week across either four or five days
