Role- ETL Test Engineer

Location- Sydney

Job Details-

Key Responsibilities

- Perform end to end ETL/ELT testing and source to target validation.
- Execute data migration, reconciliation, and post migration testing.
- Validate data quality, transformation logic, business rules, KPIs, and reports.
- Develop and run SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Support SIT, Regression, End to End, and UAT testing.
- Log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy.

Mandatory Skills

Data Testing

- ETL & Data Warehouse Testing
- Data Migration & Reconciliation Testing
- Data Quality Validation
- SIT, Regression Testing, and UAT Support

Technical Skills

- Advanced SQL
- Database Testing & Validation
- Experience with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server,



PostgreSQL, Redshift, or similar databases
- Robust understanding of data models and data warehousing concepts

Cloud & Tools

- Azure Databricks (preferred)
- Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2
- AWS Data Services / Redshift / Snowflake
- Jira, Azure DevOps
- Exposure to PySpark validation is desirable

Preferred Experience

- Telecommunications industry experience
- Large scale data migration and transformation programs
- Customer, Billing, CRM, Product, or Network data domains
- ETL test automation frameworks
