About the role

As the Estimator you will be primarily responsible for representing the company in a key customer facing role. Within this role you will be responsible for building meaningful and productive client relationships through your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. You will play an integral role ensuring the customer's budget expectations align with the cost of manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to quoting requests from customers to deliver services that are high in quality

- Liaise with customers regarding quotes

- Build and maintain strong relationships

- Produce and review quotes, with a high attention to detail

- Thoroughly understand the scope of work required for the job and requirements to be quoted

- Work collaboratively with the Workshop Manager, Workshop Forman and Office Administrator

About you

- Communicate effectively, both written and verbally





- Ability to use CAD drafting software, read and understand engineering and architectural drawings

- Understand fabrication principles and process

- Manage and understand bid pricing from suppliers

- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously

- Develop and maintain effective and productive working relationships with other company personnel, customers, suppliers, and industry colleagues

- Possess exceptional computer (Microsoft office) and administration skills

- Demonstrate excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise

- Display solid interpersonal skills and confidence when dealing with others

- Possess a high level of initiative with strong problem-solving skills
