About the role

We're hiring an experienced final trim excavator operator for civil projects across the Fraser Coast, including subdivisions, roads, earthworks and drainage. Reports to the Site Supervisor.

Location: Fraser Coast, QLD · Type: Full time, permanent

You will:

- Final trim subgrade, pavement layers, batters, swales and building pads to design levels and tolerance
- Work with GPS machine control and laser, and with survey set-out
- Trim and shape table drains, open channels and detention basins
- Work safely around live services, traffic and other plant
- Complete prestarts and basic machine maintenance

You'll have:

- Proven final trim experience on civil projects (3+ years preferred)
- Strong skills with GPS machine control (Trimble)
- Ability to read plans and levels
- White Card, excavator ticket or VOC, and a QLD driver's licence
