We are Hire Republic, Southeast Queensland's premier event infrastructure supplier and we are looking for suitable candidates to join our team with an immediate start. While the role starts as casual, there is ongoing work with the view to becoming permanent for the right person.
We supply marquees, flooring, design and furniture for some of Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW major events such as Brisbane International Tennis, Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, Gold Coast 500, Townsville 500 & Brisbane Festival, just to name a few.
With an ever growing work portfolio, we are looking to expand our team. If you have a brain, don't need to be taught how to work, are ok working away from home at times and are looking for a job that will change your life, then we're looking for you. Based at Murarrie, we can offer hours in excess of 38 per week,
plus penalty rates with permanent positions on offer for the right candidate.
Working days are primarily Monday to Friday but some weekend shifts are occasionally required. You don't need experience as we will train you on the job.
We have our own modern EBA which you will be remunerated under.
Qualifications & experience
- Physically fit
- Car license
- Own transport
- The right to permanently work in Australia
- Ability to work some weekends
- Positive oral and written communication

Tasks & responsibilities
- Installation of marquees and flooring on major event sites in Southeast Queensland and occasionally interstate.
