Executive Assistant / Growth Coordinator

DSC & CO We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant / Growth Coordinator to work directly with the founder of DSC & CO.

This is not a traditional EA role.

Yes, you’ll help manage priorities, meetings, administration and follow-up — but you’ll also play an important role in launching and growing a new consulting business.

You’ll help coordinate our podcast, manage content distribution, organise senior executive guests, maintain our prospect pipeline and follow up with prospective clients.

We’re looking for someone highly organised, commercially minded, confident in communicating with senior people and comfortable taking ownership without needing to be constantly managed.

About DSC & CO

DSC & CO helps organisations build high-performance sales organisations. We work with established businesses to diagnose what is preventing their sales organisation from performing at its potential, then help leadership teams design and implement the systems, structures, processes and behaviours required to improve performance.

The business is being built around a premium consulting model, supported by senior advisors, subject-matter experts and experienced operators.

This role will work closely with the founder during the launch and growth of DSC & CO.

The Role

You will essentially become the operational right hand to the founder. Your responsibilities will span four main areas.

(20%) Executive Support

- Manage calendar, meetings and priorities
- Coordinate travel, appointments and logistics
- Prepare meeting notes, agendas and follow-up actions
- Keep projects moving and ensure commitments don't fall through the cracks
- Help prioritise competing demands on the founder's time
- Manage administrative tasks that would otherwise distract from high-value work

(40%) Podcast & Content Operations

DSC & CO will produce a regular podcast interviewing senior sales and business leaders.

You will

- Research potential podcast guests
- Reach out to and coordinate guests
- Manage scheduling and studio logistics
- Coordinate videographers, editors and other suppliers
- Manage the podcast production calendar
- Organise clips and content for LinkedIn and Instagram
- Upload and distribute approved content
- Maintain a content library and publishing schedule

You do not need to be a professional videographer or editor. You need to be capable of coordinating the people who are.

(40%) Prospect & Growth Coordination

You'll also support DSC & CO's business development activity.

You will

- Research target organisations and decision-makers
- Maintain prospect lists and CRM records
- Monitor LinkedIn outreach and responses
- Follow up with prospects after initial outreach from the founder
- Make professional follow-up calls to prospective clients
- Coordinate meetings and follow-up communication
- Ensure every prospect is followed up appropriately
- Keep the sales pipeline organised and current

This is not a high-volume call-centre SDR role. Most prospects will have already had some interaction with the founder, DSC & CO content or our network.

You should, however, be comfortable picking up the phone and professionally speaking with senior executives.

Business Operations

As DSC & CO grows, you'll help coordinate:

- Advisors and capability partners
- Client proposals and presentations
- Website and marketing suppliers
- Case studies and testimonials
- Events and meetings
- CRM and internal systems
- Project timelines and key business priorities

Over time, the role has the potential to develop into a broader operations or Chief of Staff-style position.

Who We're Looking For

The right person will probably describe themselves as: Extremely organised.

You naturally create order from chaos.

You remember the small details and rarely need to be reminded twice.

Proactive.

If something needs doing, you don't wait to be asked.

You think ahead, identify problems early and take ownership.

Commercially minded.

You understand that the purpose of activity is ultimately to create business outcomes.

You don't just complete tasks, you understand why they matter.

A strong communicator.

You're confident in communicating with founders, executives and senior business leaders.

You're qualified without sounding robotic or overly corporate.

Comfortable on the phone.

You're happy calling a senior executive to follow up on an introduction, podcast invitation or business conversation.

Technology capable.

You learn new platforms quickly and are comfortable working across CRM systems, LinkedIn, scheduling tools, AI tools and content platforms.

Detail obsessed.

Names, dates, meeting times,

documents and follow-ups matter to you.

You notice when something doesn't look right.

Low ego, high ownership.

You don't need recognition for every task.

You care about getting the outcome right.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first few months:

- The founder's calendar and priorities are under control
- Important follow-ups no longer rely on the founder remembering them
- Podcast guests are booked well ahead of schedule
- Podcast production runs smoothly
- Content is distributed consistently
- Every prospect is tracked and followed up
- The CRM is accurate
- Meetings are professionally coordinated
- Suppliers and advisors know exactly what they need to do
- The founder spends materially more time selling, consulting, creating and building relationships — and less time organising

The ultimate test of the role is simple: Things happen without the founder having to chase them.

Experience

We're open-minded about your background.

You may currently be

- An Executive Assistant
- Personal Assistant
- Sales Coordinator
- Marketing Coordinator
- Account Manager
- Operations Coordinator
- Business Development Coordinator
- Founder Associate
- Chief of Staff in an early-stage business

Experience supporting a founder, executive or small business would be highly regarded. Experience with LinkedIn, CRM systems, podcasts, content production or B2B sales would also be valuable.

But attitude, ownership and judgment matter more to us than having every box ticked.

This Role Probably Isn't For You If

- You need detailed instructions for every task
- You're uncomfortable calling people
- You avoid responsibility when something goes wrong
- You struggle managing multiple priorities
- You need a highly structured corporate environment
- You prefer being told exactly what to do rather than figuring things out
- You're looking for a purely administrative EA role

Why Join DSC & CO?

You'll work directly with the founder while the business is being built. That means you'll have exposure to:

- Building a consulting business from the ground up
- Senior executives and business leaders
- Sales strategy and organisational performance
- Podcast and content production
- Business development
- Consulting engagements
- Advisors and subject-matter experts

You'll have considerably more responsibility and exposure than you'd typically receive in a traditional EA position. For the right person, there is significant scope for the role to grow as DSC & CO grows.
