Temporary Executive Assistant needed for a 2-month leave cover within WA State Government/n Your new company /n Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a senior executive within a busy and fast-paced government division. This is a temporary leave cover opportunity commencing in October and running through to December, offering the chance to work closely with executive leadership and key government stakeholders.
/n The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and capable of managing competing priorities while maintaining professionalism, discretion and confidentiality. Your new role /n /n
- Provide executive and administrative support to the Executive Director. /n
- Manage a complex and demanding executive calendar, including scheduling meetings, coordinating availability, booking meeting rooms and issuing invitations. /n
- Monitor and manage the Division's ministerial inbox, ensuring requests are delegated to the appropriate Directors and tracked through to completion. /n
- Coordinate and monitor divisional correspondence requiring approval by senior executives. /n
- Collate divisional reports, comments, feedback and responses for Executive Director review and endorsement. /n
- Liaise regularly with executive offices, including senior leadership and ministerial stakeholders. /n
- Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, agendas, briefing notes, meeting minutes and presentations. /n
- Monitor action items and ensure correspondence and requests are addressed within the required timeframes. /n
- Arrange travel,
accommodation and itineraries in accordance with government policies and procedures. /n
- Process invoices, assist with financial administration and complete reconciliations. /n
- Maintain accurate electronic records and information management systems. /n
- Provide administrative and project support across the division as required. /n /n

What you'll need to succeed /n
/n /n
- Previous Executive Assistant or high-level administrative support experience within government or highly regarded corporate environments /n
- Strong diary management and stakeholder coordination skills. /n
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion. /n
- Excellent written communication and document preparation skills. /n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. /n
- Confidence liaising with senior executives, government stakeholders and ministerial offices. /n
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. /n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic records management systems. /n /n
