On behalf of our Australian partner employers in Western Australia (WA), Home Migration Services is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Automotive Motor Mechanics (ANZSCO 321211).

Whether based in Perth workshop operations or regional WA service centers, our partner employers are approved Australian Standard Business Sponsors open to sponsoring eligible onshore and offshore candidates.

Key Duties & Responsibilities (ANZSCO 321211 Aligned)

- Detect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in engines and mechanical components using diagnostic tools.
- Dismantle, service, repair, and reassemble light vehicle engine assemblies, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including engine oil changes, filter replacements, fluid flushes, and scheduled logbook servicing.
- Test and adjust repaired mechanical parts and sub-assemblies to ensure optimal vehicle safety and performance standards.
- Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and ensure compliance with WA automotive standards and safety regulations.
- Operate workshop machinery safely and maintain strict adherence to Western Australia WorkSafe and environmental guidelines.

Candidate Eligibility & Requirements
- Qualification:



Certificate III in Automotive Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
- Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of formal, full-time post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic.
- Skills Assessment: Positive Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) outcome or eligible for TRA assessment.
- English Proficiency: Meets minimum IELTS / PTE requirement for TSS 482 or 494 visa subclass (IELTS 5.0 overall or equivalent), or have a valid WORKING VISA.
- Valid Driver’s License and WA White Card (or commitment to secure upon arrival).
