Pacific Plastic Surgery Clinic is seeking an experienced, professional and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our specialist surgical practice on a permanent part-time basis.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in medical reception. This is an essential requirement.

We are a busy plastic and reconstructive surgery practice providing high-quality patient care in a professional and supportive environment.

About the Role

Working 2 days per week, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of our practice and providing exceptional patient service.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing patient appointments, enquiries and incoming calls
- Coordinating busy specialist consulting sessions
- Processing Medicare, private health insurance and patient billing
- Managing patient records, referrals and clinical correspondence
- Liaising with surgeons, nursing staff, hospitals and referring practitioners
- Handling patient enquiries professionally and confidentially
- Providing general administrative support to the practice

Essential requirements

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical receptionist role
- Sound knowledge of Medicare billing and medical administration
- Excellent communicator and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands




- Confidence working independently in a busy medical environment
- A proactive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork
- Qualified presentation and a patient-focused approach

Experience in specialist medical or surgical practices and familiarity with Xestro will be highly regarded.
