Merri-bek Early Years Management (MEYM) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Service Leader and Early Childhood Teacher to lead one of our mixed age (3-5 years) kindergarten groups at our Lake Park Kindergarten service for a part time (30 hours per week) parental leave contract.

This role combines teaching with Service Leader responsibilities, providing an opportunity to lead the day-to-day operation of the kindergarten while remaining closely connected to children, families and the teaching program.

In this role, you will:

- Deliver meaningful, play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity and support children’s learning and development.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the Lake Park team, helping to create a positive, team-oriented and well-organised service.
- Support high-quality practice, regulatory compliance, child safety and continuous improvement across the kindergarten.




- Build strong relationships with families and the wider community, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Work collaboratively with MEYM’s leadership and support team and contribute your knowledge, experience and ideas to the broader organisation.
