/n /n /n We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of Aged Care Support Worker in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas /n /n This position is ideal for individuals passionate about providing high-quality support to older people and seniors in both community and home settings. /n /n As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being while respecting their dignity and independence. /n /n /n Responsibilities: /n /n

- Provide personal care and support to older individuals in accordance with their individual care plans.

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.

- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

- Work collaboratively with other team members and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate personnel.

- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.

- Experience supporting older people and seniors in community and home settings.

- Experience working with people living with disability and complex needs.

- Competency in using smartphones and mobile devices with internet access.

- Commitment to quality care and a safety-first approach.

- Understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality.
