The Opportunity As an External Audit Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of audit engagements from planning through to completion, working closely with clients, partners and the wider audit team.





Your responsibilities will include

- Managing external audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Overseeing risk assessments, audit testing and technical audit matters
- Managing engagement timelines, budgets and overall delivery
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and developing strong stakeholder relationships
- Working closely with partners on complex matters and client delivery
- Reviewing audit working papers and ensuring a high standard of quality
- Leading, coaching and developing junior members of the team

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- External audit experience gained within a mid-tier or boutique professional services firm
- Previous experience managing and taking a lead role on external audit engagements
- Strong technical audit knowledge and commercial awareness
- Experience managing client relationships and multiple engagements
- The ability to coach and support junior team members
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA qualification, or equivalent
