About the Opportunity Lead projects that shape our community and create a lasting impact across the region. As Facility Projects Team Leader, you’ll drive Council’s facility capital works program from concept to completion, while helping shape long-term building asset strategies and investment priorities. Bringing together internal teams, consultants, contractors and community stakeholders, you’ll turn strategic priorities into high-quality facilities that support our community now and into the future.
What you will bring The successful applicant will have the following:
- Degree or Diploma qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying or Project Management and relevant experience or a lesser qualification and extensive relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritising and organising work, including identifying and managing risks, to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated experience in writing, preparing and evaluating project tender specifications and documents, supported by a working knowledge of data management and relevant software including Access, Excel, Word and industry project management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing diverse technical teams to deliver on set outcomes
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Hold a satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.
Salary and conditions The position is classified within Band 7 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $108,138 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
