Franklyn Blinds, Awnings & Security is looking for a dependable Factory Cleaner / Production Assistant to join our Rochedale manufacturing team.
You’ll keep our factory floors and production areas tidy, manage production waste and lend a hand with general factory tasks. Your work will help keep a busy manufacturing workplace secure, organised and running smoothly.
This role involves factory cleaning and production support. There is no toilet or public-area cleaning.

- Consistent Monday–Friday day shifts, with an early finish on Fridays.
- Opportunity to move into permanent full-time employment after 3–6 months, based on performance.

Your day-to-day duties
- Sweep factory floors and keep production areas clean and tidy.
- Empty bins and remove production waste.
- Dispose of returned products from installation teams.
- Move and organise materials around the factory.
- Assist with container unloading when required.
- Help the production team with general factory duties.
- Follow safe work practices and keep walkways and work areas clear.
What we’re looking for Reliability is a key requirement. We need someone who arrives on time, attends consistently and follows through on daily tasks.
You’ll also need
- A positive attitude and willingness to help.
- The ability to work independently and keep productive without constant supervision.
- An eye for what needs doing and pride in completing the job properly.
- The ability to carry out physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials safely.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, with the ability to commute to Rochedale each workday.
Previous factory, warehouse, cleaning or labouring experience is an advantage, but not essential. A dependable approach and willingness to learn are what matter most.
