We are currently seeking a reliable factory hand to assist in day-to-day operations at an established butcher/meat wholesaler in Prospect, NSW.

Alpine Game Meats have specialised in the processing and supply of game meats for over 40 years and are now looking to expand the team. If you are eager to learn, able to work as part of a team and thrive in hands-on roles, this may be the chance for you!

Your duties will include

- Packaging and labelling meat products for delivery
- Assisting in loading delivery trucks
- Vacuum sealing meat that has been prepared for delivery
- Maintaining records relating to order packing/delivery
- Unpacking shipments that arrive to the warehouse
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area

This role will involve early starts (sometimes as early as 4am),



heavy lifting and working in walk-in freezers and cool rooms. Experience working in food packaging/meat processing, along with knowledge of food safety laws and legislation are highly desirable. A level of physical fitness to carry out the duties listed above is also required.

Pay: $26.50 – $30.00 per hour
