About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Hand to join our team at our Green Fields facility in SA 5107. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a energetic manufacturing operation. As a Factory Hand, you will play a vital role in our assembly and process work operations, contributing directly to the production of quality products. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with assembly and manufacturing processes according to established procedures
- Operate machinery and equipment safely, following all health and safety guidelines and protocols
- Perform manual handling and material preparation tasks as required
- Monitor product quality and alert supervisors to any defects or issues identified during production
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to housekeeping standards
- Contribute to inventory management and stock rotation as directed
- Support other team members and collaborate effectively within the factory environment
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or workplace hazards to management immediately
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation relating to workplace health and safety
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in factory, assembly, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work safely and responsibly in a fast-paced production environment
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling duties and stand for extended periods
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude towards work
- Willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for understanding work instructions and recording information
- A valid driver's and forklift license is preferable
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in workplace health and safety would be advantageous
