About the Role
You’ll be part of a close-knit, supportive team handling a diverse range of family law matters, including:
- Complex rural and business property settlements.
- Parenting matters involving coercive control and trauma-informed client engagement.
- Recovery applications, consent orders, divorces, and mediations.
- Chance to be based in either Brisbane or Toowoomba office.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own files under the guidance of an Accredited Specialist.
- Preparing court documents and appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Magistrates Court.
- Meeting with clients and providing clear, compassionate legal advice.
- Instructing counsel and conducting legal research.

Requirements To succeed in this role, you’ll need to hold a current Practising Certificate with Supreme Court admission and be admitted to the High Court of Australia.
