Royal Eagle Security Services (RESS) is on the lookout for a motivated, talented, and ambitious technician to join our fast-growing and highly motivated Security Technology team based in Port Melbourne.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in supporting, installing, and maintaining advanced security systems—while providing exceptional service to our customers. Every day will be different, and your ability to problem-solve and adapt will be valued and rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Technology

- Install and service Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and other IT-based security systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure jobs are completed on time to high standards
- Complete cabling work in line with standards and submit required documentation
- Provide remote phone support and fault investigation as needed
- Participate in on-call duties as per the roster

Customer Care
- Proactively identify and resolve customer issues, needs, and opportunities
- Support Account Managers with the technical input required for proposals and quotations





Job Management
- Accurately update the job management system with system and client info
- Write clear and complete job reports, including any required follow-ups

What You’ll Bring Must-Haves:

- Valid Australian Driver Licence
- Current Private Security Individual Registration/Licence with activity ‘Security Installer’
- Victorian Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience with electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, Intercom, etc.)
- Familiarity with systems such as Gallagher, Integriti, Milestone, Axis
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and wiring diagrams
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive customer-first mindset
