Role Description

This is a commission-based Field Sales Representative role based in Perth, WA, focused on face-to-face business development and customer acquisition.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will approach businesses in person, introduce them to Smart Answer’s AI-powered receptionist, identify opportunities where the service could benefit their operations, and help bring new businesses on board.

This opportunity is particularly suited to confident, driven and entrepreneurial individuals who enjoy meeting people, building relationships and working independently. Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential - the ability to communicate confidently, identify business needs and present a valuable solution is what matters most.

Approaching businesses face-to-face and generating new sales opportunities.

Introducing business owners and decision-makers to Smart Answer.

Demonstrating how an AI receptionist can handle calls, enquiries, bookings, messages and call transfers.

Identifying businesses that could benefit from AI automation and improved call management.

Helping prospects understand the value of the service and its potential return on investment.

Supporting prospects through the onboarding process and 7-day free trial.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with the businesses you bring on board.

Developing your own client base and creating ongoing recurring commission.

Representing Smart Answer professionally when meeting prospective clients.





The role can be performed alongside a full-time 9-5 job, making it suitable for individuals looking to build an additional income stream through evenings, weekends or flexible hours.

Commission & Earning Potential

This is a commission-based opportunity with uncapped earning potential.

One of the key benefits is that your commission does not necessarily stop after the initial sale. When you bring a business on board with Smart Answer, you receive 25% of the monthly subscription for the first 6 months, followed by 10% ongoing every month for as long as the client remains with Smart Answer.

This means that the more businesses you successfully bring on board, the more potential recurring income you can build.

Example earning potential For illustration, if you bring 10 businesses onto Smart Answer:

At $150/month per business

25% commission for the first 6 months = $37.50 per business/month

10 businesses = $375/month commission

First 6 months = $2,250

10% ongoing commission for the following 6 months = $150/month

Approx. $3,150 commission in the first year

At $300/month per business

25% commission for the first 6 months = $75 per business/month

10 businesses = $750/month commission

First 6 months = $4,500

10% ongoing commission for the following 6 months = $300/month

Approx. $6,300 commission in the first year

At $500/month per business

25% commission for the first 6 months = $125 per business/month

10 businesses = $1,250/month commission

First 6 months = $7,500

10% ongoing commission for the following 6 months = $500/month

Approx. $10,500 commission in the first year

And the recurring commission doesn’t necessarily end after the first year. The 10% ongoing commission continues every month while the businesses you brought on remain customers.

For example, 10 clients paying $500/month would continue generating $500 per month in ongoing commission, assuming all 10 remain subscribed.

Actual earnings will depend on the number of businesses you bring on, the subscription value of each client, and client retention.

In addition to Smart Answer, Foras Industries provides larger-ticket technology solutions and lead-funded projects. These opportunities are generally paid as a single commission, with 5% representing a strong commission level on larger-value projects.
