About the Role:

Curtin University invites applications for a full time (1.0 FTE) Fieldwork Coordinator to join the Faculty of Health Sciences on a fixed-term basis until 30 June 2027. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who can commence immediately to lead and oversee the Faculty’s fieldwork placement program and drive positive outcomes for students, staff and industry partners.

This position collaborates with fieldwork and unit coordinators to maintain and strengthen industry partnerships, serving as a key interface between partners and students to ensure the smooth administration of placements.

The Fieldwork Coordinator oversees the daily operations of fieldwork placements, including organising placement team priorities and overseeing ongoing process improvements. The position also regularly reviews administrative processes, implements improvements with staff, and ensures compliance with university policies and procedures.

Additionally, the Coordinator develops and maintains strong relationships with industry partners, liaises with students, staff, and clinical partners to resolve placement issues, and acts as the first escalation point for any placement-related queries.

Who we are looking for (selection criteria):

- Effective relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a wide range of professional and industry stakeholders.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Effective team coordination skills, with the ability to provide day-to-day leadership, direction and support to staff within a small team.
- Clear and professional written communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise correspondence and documentation for a range of audiences.




- Sound judgement and practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and resolve day-to-day issues effectively.
- Effective collaboration and self-management skills, with the ability to contribute positively within a team and work autonomously with limited direction.

Desirable

- Previous experience in, and understanding of, fieldwork placement within the higher education sector.

Role Requirements:

1. As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role

This is a full time, fixed term position until 30 June 2027, with a salary range between $99,213 - $105,251 (G06) per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
