IronMerge People are currently recruiting FIFO Utility workers for our client’s casual pool, supporting sites across the Pilbara, Midwest and South West regions of WA.

These roles are FIFO from Perth Airport only and are generally offered as 1–2 week swings or leave coverage, depending on operational requirements. As part of a casual pool, work will be offered based on client demand and availability.

A significant portion of available work may be within Kitchen and Dining, so applicants must be comfortable working in a kitchen environment and be flexible to work either day or nightshift when required.

New to FIFO? We will consider applicants who have at least 2 years of recent hospitality experience and can demonstrate the reliability, work ethic and flexibility required to transition into a remote FIFO environment.

As a FIFO Utility, you may work across:

- Kitchen and dining areas – pot wash, dishes, cleaning, food handling and basic food preparation
- Housekeeping and cleaning of camp accommodation and rooms
- Mine site cleaning – including toilets, offices and crib rooms
- Tavern, retail and coffee shop areas
- General village and outdoor cleaning duties
- Other utility duties as required by the site

Essential Criteria To be considered for this recruitment campaign, you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident - temporary visa holders will not be considered for this recruitment campaign
- Hold a valid WA C Class Driver’s Licence, or willing to transfer your license to a WA licence before progressing to the medical stage




- Be available to fly from Perth Airport
- Have recent Australian FIFO/DIDO Utility experience OR a minimum of 2 years' recent hospitality experience for applicants looking to enter FIFO
- Be willing and able to work across different departments, including Kitchen and Dining
- Be flexible to work day or nightshift, depending on site requirements
- Be physically capable of working up to 12-hour shifts in a remote environment
- Be comfortable working in hot and physically demanding conditions
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Hold a clear National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months, or be willing to obtain one
- Be confident using a computer or smartphone to complete online onboarding, training and timesheets
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability and site responsibilities

Significant: Applicants with an interstate driver’s licence may apply; however, you will be required to transfer your licence to a Western Australian C Class Driver’s Licence before IronMerge can progress you to the pre-employment medical stage.
