Salary Range | $105,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role

Working at the centre of operational decision-making in a well-established not-for-profit organisation, the Finance Business Partner reports directly to the Head of Finance and Corporate Services and partners with senior managers to drive performance, monitor costs and influence strategic outcomes. This is a highly visible and impactful role, suited to someone who enjoys being close to the action and working with operational leaders to drive improved performance.

Your sharp commercial acumen and highly developed analytical skills will be key to providing insights into costs and key drivers, supporting effective decision-making and improved outcomes. Key to your success will be your ability to establish relationships, build credibility and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on team environment.

The Finance Business Partner will lead the day-to-day finance function across Finance, Payroll, AR/AP and NDIS Plan Management, playing a critical role in improving performance visibility and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with operational leaders to provide financial visibility across programs and service activities, translating financial information into practical insights to support informed decision-making.
- Manage the financial function, including AP/AR, NDIS Plan Management, facilities and fleet.
- Ensure Payroll is managed effectively, supporting compliance with Awards, EBA, Fair Work and applicable tax and legislative requirements.
- Support monthly and year-end reporting cycles, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.




- Conduct financial modelling and analysis and develop tools and insights to drive cost control and strengthen operational decision-making.

About You

We’re looking for a finance professional with strong technical capability, commercial acumen and the ability to build relationships, provide insight and influence business outcomes.

You will ideally bring

- CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent) an advantage.
- Solid senior accounting or finance leadership experience, ideally within a growing organisation.
- Hands-on experience across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Comfortable partnering with senior leaders to drive business outcomes.
- Capable payroll management expertise and understanding of the NFP regulatory environment.
- Background in management accounting, financial analysis or commercial finance.
- Experience supporting operational stakeholders with financial insight and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify trends.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing complex financial information.
- Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence reporting tools.
- Capable of working across multiple entities and health regulatory compliance.
- Experience working in program or health-related environments will be highly regarded.
