Finance Manager

Perth | Permanent full-time | $170,000 + super

Balance Search is representing a substantial Perth-based organisation seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a sizeable finance function.

This is a senior commercial role in a high-volume setting, with responsibility for finance operations, reporting, governance, controls and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and external auditors while supporting the continued improvement of finance processes and team performance.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, support and develop a sizeable finance team.
- Oversee high-volume finance operations.
- Manage financial reporting, audit and control requirements.
- Maintain strong financial governance and process discipline.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
- Identify risks, resolve issues and ensure appropriate escalation.
- Improve the efficiency, accuracy and accountability of finance processes.
- Provide practical financial advice to support business decision-making.

You may be an experienced:

- Finance Manager
- Financial Controller
- Senior Finance Manager
- Senior Manager from Big 4,



mid-tier or complex public practice

You will ideally bring

- Experience leading a sizeable finance or accounts payable team.
- Exposure to a large-scale organisation or complex corporate environment.
- Strong financial reporting, audit, controls and governance experience.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external auditors.
- A direct, practical and commercially minded communication style.
- The resilience to manage competing priorities and a demanding workload.
- The confidence to challenge constructively, make decisions and take ownership.
