We are looking for a motivated, accurate and detail-focused Accounts Officer to join our growing finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than just processing invoices. You’ll be involved across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations and month-end, while working closely with and receiving hands-on mentoring from an experienced Financial Controller.

What You'll Be Doing
Your role will have plenty of variety, including:
- Managing Accounts Payable from end to end
- Performing three-way matching between purchase orders, invoices and receipts
- Processing and managing Accounts Receivable
- Maintaining accurate supplier and customer records
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Managing multiple finance email accounts and ensuring enquiries are actioned promptly
- Completing intercompany and freight reconciliations.
- Assisting with month-end processing
- Ensuring financial records and supporting documentation are accurate and up to date
- Assisting the Financial Controller with general accounting and finance tasks
- Identifying discrepancies and following up to ensure they are resolved
- Helping improve and streamline finance processes as the business continues to grow

What You’ll Need
Essential:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer or similar role
- Strong Accounts Payable experience
- Experience with three-way matching
- Accounts Receivable experience
- Bank reconciliation experience
- Xero experience is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer and Excel skills
Highly regarded:
- Experience with multiple entities
- Intercompany accounting/reconciliations
- Month-end processing experience
- Experience in a rapidly growing or changing business environment
