Exciting State Government Finance Officer Opportunity/n Your new companyAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance Officer to join a State Government organisation based in Perth. Working within a team-oriented finance team, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations and delivering high-quality services to internal and external stakeholders.
Your new role /n /n
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
/n
- Managing debt recovery activities and monitoring outstanding debts
/n
- Processing and reconciling corporate credit card transactions
/n
- Providing support to cardholders, including new applications, limit changes and enquiries
/n
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and maintaining financial controls
/n
- Preparing and analysing aged debtor and creditor reports
/n
- Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
/n
- Maintaining accurate supplier and financial records
/n
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries
/n
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes
/n
- Delivering a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
/n /n
What you'll need to succeed/n /n
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer,
Accounts Officer or similar position
/n
- Experience working with Financial Management Information Systems within a large organisation
/n
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and debt recovery processes
/n
- Sound understanding of financial policies, procedures and controls
/n
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
/n
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
/n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment
/n
- A proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement
/n /n
