Permanent Financial Accountant Role, Up to 110K plus super, Sydney, Successful Retail and Wholesale BusinessYour new roleDo you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We're looking for a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional who loves getting into the detail, understands stock and inventory movements, and enjoys partnering with the wider business to drive performance. You'll play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, analysing inventory and product margins, monitoring cash flow, and providing valuable insights that help the business make smarter decisions.

Other responsibilities include:

- Owning key month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing journals, accruals, provisions and cash flow forecasts
- Analysing product margins, SKU profitability and business performance
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Supporting BAS, payroll tax, FBT and audit requirements
- Partnering with operations,



supply chain and leadership teams to provide financial insights
- Driving process improvements and improving reporting efficiencies

What you'll need to succeed

- Experience in a retail, wholesale, FMCG, distribution or inventory-heavy environment

- Solid understanding of inventory accounting, stock movements, margins and cost analysis

- Confident managing month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations

- Someone energetic, proactive and naturally curious who enjoys improving processes
- A team player who can work across finance and operational stakeholders
