Permanent Financial Accountant Role, Up to 110K plus super, Sydney, Successful Retail and Wholesale Business/n Your new roleDo you thrive in a quick-paced environment where no two days are the same? We're looking for a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional who loves getting into the detail, understands stock and inventory movements, and enjoys partnering with the wider business to drive performance. You'll play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, analysing inventory and product margins, monitoring cash flow, and providing valuable insights that help the business make smarter decisions.
Other responsibilities include: /n /n
- Owning key month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
/n
- Preparing journals, accruals, provisions and cash flow forecasts
/n
- Analysing product margins, SKU profitability and business performance
/n
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
/n
- Supporting BAS, payroll tax, FBT and audit requirements
/n
- Partnering with operations,
supply chain and leadership teams to provide financial insights
/n
- Driving process improvements and improving reporting efficiencies
/n What you'll need to succeed /n

- Experience in a retail, wholesale, FMCG, distribution or inventory-heavy environment /n
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting, stock movements, margins and cost analysis /n
- Confident managing month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations /n
- Someone energetic, proactive and naturally curious who enjoys improving processes /n
