We are seeking 2 Part-Time (Upto 56hours a fortnight) Food Services Assistant (Kitchen hand/Salads) to support our essential services team at Beechworth Health Service.

About the Role:

- 2 x Part-Time Assistants upto 56 hours per fortnight
- Provide kitchen support as required including dishwashing duties, cleaning and sanitising crockery, cutlery, utensils and meal delivery equipment.
- Assist with basic food production and service of patient meals.

Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with residents, patients, consumers, families, staff, volunteers and community members.
- A genuine commitment to providing high-quality hospitality, cleaning and support services within a healthcare and aged care workplace.
- Demonstrated understanding of infection prevention and control principles, personal hygiene standards, and safe work practices relevant to healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, chemical safety and environmental cleaning standards, or willingness to undertake training.
- Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in accordance with operational requirements.
- Strong organisational skills, reliability,



time management and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
