About us

We’re a busy Tearoom with an adjoining florists shop serving online booking and walk-in customers, food and drinks. We pride ourselves on friendly service, excellent coffee and beautiful shop presentation. We’re looking for a reliable front-of-house team member who can also answer phone enquiries and be flexible to help with basic flower-shop duties when needed.

Key responsibilities

- Greet and serve customers in the tearoom; prepare and serve hot drinks and light food items
- Operate the till, take phone orders/enquiries and manage bookings with a polite telephone manner
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the tearoom and front-of-house areas
- Assist with basic floristry customer service tasks (taking orders, packaging, handing over purchases) when required
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures; restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties

Requirements
- Customer-focused, friendly and reliable




- Comfortable answering phone enquiries and handling bookings
- Ability to multi-task and adapt between tearoom and shop duties
- Willingness to work weekends/occasional early starts/seasonal peaks
- Basic food hygiene certification and barista experience are advantageous but not essential (training can be provided)

Desirable
- Barista / coffee-making skills (desirable, not essential)
- Previous front-of-house or retail experience
- Experience assisting in a flower shop (an advantage)
- Driving licence (if role involves occasional local deliveries)
