About the role

We're building our front of house team across the floor and bar. Every role plays a part in delivering exceptional service and representing the Pony Dining brand through precision, product knowledge, and genuine hospitality. For over 20 years, Pony Dining has been known for bold, fire driven cooking, premium Australian produce, and vibrant dining energy.

We now embark on our latest flagship in the heart of Barangaroo.

Roles available

- Section Waiter: Deliver full table service from greeting through to farewell across an assigned section, guiding guests through the menu, specials, and wine pairings
- Food Runner: Run food from the pass with speed and accuracy, present dishes with confidence, and keep the connection between kitchen and floor seamless
- Bar Back: Keep the bar stocked, clean, and ready, supporting bartenders with glassware, ice, garnishes, and restocking so service never slows down
- Bartender: Prepare cocktails, wine, and beverages to spec with speed and flair, engage with bar guests, and maintain a well run, presentable bar

Key responsibilities across all roles

- Demonstrate strong and current knowledge of menu items, specials, allergens,



and beverages relevant to your role
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and service standards throughout service
- Use Lightspeed POS accurately for orders and transactions where required
- Communicate proactively with the floor, bar, kitchen, and supervisors
- Support pre service setup and post service breakdown tasks
- Contribute to briefings and ongoing product training
- Uphold RSA obligations at all times

About you

- Previous experience in a similar role within a premium or high volume venue (1 to 2 years preferred for Section Waiter and Bartender roles; we welcome motivated applicants with less experience for Runner and Bar Back roles)
- Current NSW RSA certificate
- Robust communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of looking after people
- Solid food and beverage knowledge, or a real eagerness to learn
- Professional, polished, and service driven mindset
- Able to stay calm, sharp, and warm in a fast paced environment
- A team player who takes pride in the details
